Jesus Film Singapore

The JESUS Film Project is an evangelical organization created in 1981 by Campus Crusade for Christ founder Bill Bright to distribute the 1979 film, Jesus, not only in English, but also in many of the world’s languages with the stated goal of reaching “every nation, tribe, people and tongue, helping them see and hear the story of Jesus in a language they can understand.”

We believe film is the most dynamic way to hear and see the greatest story ever lived — so we are driven to bring Christ-centered video to the ends of the earth. We want everyone, everywhere to encounter Jesus.  More than 530 million people have come to Jesus after watching these films!

Jesus Film

The JESUS Film is a faithful depiction of Christ s birth, ministry, death and resurrection as told in the biblical account from the Gospel of Luke. Virtually every word Jesus speaks in The JESUS Film is quoted from Scripture, with 450 leaders and scholars having reviewed the script for biblical accuracy. Further historical accuracy was ensured using clothing, pottery and other props made with first-century methods to portray a 2,000-year-old Palestinian culture.  Officially recognized as the Most Translated Film in history, The JESUS Film is now available in over 1,600 languages. Media Ministry has been a part of this project by helping with some translation work, post-production mixing and editing, packaging and distribution of the Jesus film to the nearby mission fields.

Jesus film for children:

In the first century, a group of children meet together to talk about what they’ve seen and heard about Jesus. Some believe Jesus is the Son of God. But others think Jesus may just be tricking the people.

The children follow Jesus around, witness His miracles, and listen to Him teach. Jesus raises a girl from the dead, calls imperfect people like tax collectors to follow Him, teaches everyone to be kind and gracious to each other, and lets a woman wash His feet with tears. He teaches in parables no one really understands, calms a raging storm, gives sight to the blind, and helps those who no one sees as worth helping. He shows the children an amazing, powerful, and kind way to live. Benjamin and Sarah talk to the children watching their story about Jesus and what it means to believe who He is and accept Him as their Savior.
